Catbird Hotel
I was working at OMFGCO when the interiors team was brought in to create public space design concepts based on the branding the studio developed for the Catbird Hotel, a long-stay hotel in Denver’s RiNo Art District. For the lobby, we sought to create a space that welcomes guests and locals looking for a place to eat, gather, work, and collaborate. While the space is expansive and open, there are nooks and furniture collections that evoke an experience of staying with a well-travelled friend. A rich palette that emphasizes texture, pattern, and natural variance with moments of bolder color. We passed this vision along to Swan Dive to bring to life. The project won the 2022 Indie Congress Award for Most Innovative Hotel Design.
